On the sixth day of spica, my true love gave to me:

Tonight was the end of a special eight nights for our family. In very simplistic terms, a central story to this time focuses on a miracle and taking pride in being different than those around you. I cannot think of a better lesson for Hip Chick. She has certainly been "different" than most around her this year and, well, she may always be to an extent. I hope she can grow to be proud of what separates herself from others. We have learned quite a bit this year about how uniquely a child can experience their world due to compromised mobility. Many look at this as a hinderance- but perhaps it is a gift. We do not have to be part of the "majority" to appreciate what G-d has given us.
And so...
MOMMY HAD A DRIIIINK!!
Four bird calls...
Three French horns...
Two turtle hugs...
And a babysitter, parents' night free!
